Its the time of year so many people get dressed in their best for holiday family photos. Not us. Not because we are in the hospital with Samira, but because I’ve never really followed through with them. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of them- but thats as far as I’ve ever gotten, regretfully. Family pics are very important; they chronicle so many moments, growing kiddos-growing families for that matter, & the many changes we have over the years. I even look back at our family pics from my childhood. Maybe I just like to be reminded how I was born the cutest sibling of us 3……just kidding, haha! But seriously, family pics are one thing I need to get a little more serious about.
Out the kindness of her heart, our friend Jen sent a Facebook message extending an offer to come take some pictures for us as soon as it was her day off. Now we know coming 2 hours (ONE WAY!) this took most, if not all of her day. This journal entry is dedicated to the girls & to Jen, of Jen Diaz Photography, who gracefully captured these special moments of Samira. You will see we also snuck Soriya in for a few (hence the face mask)
A very special thanks to Jen, Josh, & baby Stella for coming out here. This means so much to our family!
